Both of these two are people I admire so much, so these awards means a lot to me. Thank you girls *mwah*

Wow. Two updates within the same month, how unusual of me!
Firstly, I am very proud to have received a Site Of The Month award from Wendy. Thank you so much!

I'm very honoured because Wendy has been a great inspiration to me for so long, so it means a lot to me.

I have 2 new pieces of art. Not a huge amount but I have been quite busy lately, finishing off work before going on my holiday on monday.
I do have 16 new Twilight Icons added, they have their own section because I suspect I will be making more in the future. Have also added 2 new textures.

Two months since my last update! Not good, but I suppose it's not the longest gap I've managed to have *lol*
I've got quite a bit of stuff to add so I'll get right to it.

First thing's first, I've got a new Site of the Month:


Immortal Kiss is my Site of the Month for March.

I have added 8 new pieces of art. I think that's the most art I've ever added in one go in this site's history, so I am quite pleased with that. This new year has rendered me quite inspired, perhaps because of the AFA's? I can't say for sure :)
Of course, what's inspiring me most of all right now is the Twilight Series By Stephenie Meyer. I started Twilight last friday and read all 3 books in one go over the weekend. So naturally, 4 of my 8 new pieces is Twilight related and I'm expecting to make more so I've already given it it's own section on the site.


I just wanted to talk briefly about some of my favourite pieces that I've added.
I Remember Nothing - Alice Cullen! I think she is my favourite Cullen (besides Edward ofcourse) and I am really pleased with the actress cast to portray her in the upcoming movie. I wanted to make an Alice/Jasper piece but it was so hard to find proper photos of the two actors, so I settled for an Alice piece and I really love the way this one turned out. She looks like my Alice (apart for the fact that her hair is long), which was the effect I was trying to get :)
The BEar and the Angel - Emmett & Rosalie, represented by Tom Welling and Lily Donaldson. I am having a hard time imagining the cast actors in the parts which I think is mostly because of these two being so utterly perfect for the parts, that anything else just won't do :( I will get used to it, I am sure but I just wanted to portray these two characters the way I see them (I always pictured Emmett looking like Tom Welling for some reason).
Pretend You're Bored - Emma Frost. Ok, so not really my favourite piece of the bunch but I found this old .psd and decided to try and make something out of it. I had to start over from scratch ofcourse, because the reason it was never finished in the first place, was because I'd got stuck at a point I didn't like. I know it's a bit pink and I mostly did it for the hell of it, but it actually turned out better than I thought. And I love Greg Horn's Emma art!!

Speaking of the AFA's (ok, I wasn't really but anyway) I was shocked to find that I actually won an award.

I'm very happy about that, especially because I won it for a piece that I was quite proud of, my BtvS Normal Again piece that I did for my battle with Romain over at BuffyForums. So I'm very grateful to anyone who thought this piece was worth voting for *hugs*

Hope everyone has had a fantastic Holiday season.

It's a new year and I felt time for a change. I have a long overdue new layout up, finally featuring my (still ongoing) obsession of the moment, Shia LaBeouf (& Megan Fox cos I think they're super cute together in this photosession). I haven't done any changing of sections on the site because I like the way it is at the moment, still fresh from having been organised a few months ago. Speaking of months, I know it's been way too many since my last update. I have been adding stuff to the site in the past months but I just haven't had time to update. Well, very little time and also I am lazy of nature so I usually have to take some time getting around to doing thisngs. Bad combination :p
Anyway, I won't talk about any of the art I've added since my last update because it's been too long since I made any of it so it's a bit vague...

NEWS:
Speaking of being lazy, I actually did have a SOTM for December, with award at the ready but I just sorta "forgot" to tell her and also could not find time to sit down and write the praising words that I thought she was worthy of. That's why I have featured two SOTM's this month, one for December and one for January. A bit odd but I thought seeing as I had already made the award, it shouldn't go to waste.

Both sites are definitely worth more than a visit!!!
